Superman: Escape From Krypton To Reopen In March
According to a L.A. Times article posted earlier today, Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced that Superman: Escape from Krypton will reopen on March 19th. The new trains, with over-the-shoulder restraints to allow the trains to travel backwards, are due to arrive this week. Testing of the new trains should commence by the end of the month. After a few months of operation, one of the cars will be reversed allowing riders to choose between facing forward or backwards during the ride. Superman: The Escape was closed months ago so the ride could be refurbished, repainted, and renamed to Superman: Escape from Krypton.
