What The Fried Gets A New Sign

By on 04/18/2012

Six Flags Magic Mountain What the Fried

The former Johnny Rockets location in the Six Flags Magic Mountain plaza got a new sign this week. No signage yet for the Loaded Dogs half of the restaurant. I think it looks like Pac-Man, but a friend I was with thought it looked like the yellow M&M. What do you think?

As you can see here, they still haven’t removed the old Shakes and Fries signs from when it was Johnny Rockets. Hopefully those will come down when they put up the Loaded Dogs sign:

Is this the same location that will serve Dole Whips? Can you imagine a deep fried Dole Whip, like how Mexican restaurants deep fry ice cream—coat a scoop with batter and fry it? I think that would be the ultimate in deep frying!

It’s nice to see new stuff at Magic Mountain, be it rides or food offerings.

Yes it is, and I actually had a Mango Dole Whip today. I loved it! I took some pics and will do a separate post about that tomorrow.

I have almost tried the entire menu but wont touch the Mango. .. Enjoyed the chili dogs add on some bacon. The Fries have been hit or miss .. order size has varied between too few fries for the basket to overflowing .. I guess in fairness the overflowing fries basket, the fries really sucked as must have been sitting for way to long so just decided I was the guest to get lots of lousy fries… funny with 27 packets of ketchup that had been sitting in the sun that seemed to warm them up but still would like consistence at least for fries.

Really enjoyed the Twinkies and Snickers and next week will try the Deep Fried Ice Cream. Looks like new 3 Musketeers & Twixs signs in parking lot so perhaps deep fried 3 Musketeers/ Twixs are on the way.

Loved the Pineapple Dole Whip and survived the brain freeze several times.

I tried the Mango the other day and it was really good. I like it way better than the pineapple. Pics and a review coming tomorrow.
