    Why couldnt you walk left from the main entrance?

    And look at those transportation options….SO MANY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

      They didn’t put in the path behind the carousel until many years later, in 1981, when the Rapids Camp Crossing area was added. Only then was there a complete walking circuit all the way around the park.

    I still have one or two copies of this same map. The way they depicted the Mountain Express always cracked me up. It shows a figure eight layout with one tall hill when in fact it was a Schwarzkopf Wildcat with a twisting layout. To be fair, they did fix that in future years.

    Just for reference, that attraction called “Teen Tank” was pretty much a jolly jump for adults. Bugs Bunny World had one for kids, so they figured they’d put one in for adults. I went in there a couple of times.

      I know the Teen Tank was just a jumper and not a ride, but I wasn’t sure where to stick it. Since it wasn’t around for very long, I’m not too concerned about it.

    WOW.There was such a small amount of rides back then!!!The Park looks so small!!!Which one is the ferris wheel?

      Look for the red Metro train near the bottom of the map. That train happens to be going right past Galaxy.
