Holiday in the Park 2016 at Six Flags Magic Mountain

By on 01/04/2017

Holiday in the Park 2016 at Six Flags Magic Mountain came to a close on Monday, January 2, 2017. I took a ton of photos during this event, with over 1,500 photographs on the last night alone. It would be very impractical to post them all, so I am creating photo galleries of everything so that you can browse the ones you are interested in. It’s taking me a long time to sort through all of the photos to find the best ones, so please be patient. I’ll eventually get them all up here. Enjoy!

Hi there! I’m visiting SFMM and KBF the week of 8/21-8/25. Do you have any good tips or an order/itinerary to ride the rides? Also, Magic Mountain is only open 10:30-6 that week; since most schools have begun again by then, is that enough time to ride all the coasters and maybe have time for some re-rides? Last question. We will be at those parks on the Monday and Tuesday of that week and since Knott’s is open longer (10-8) do you have any suggestions for which park to do first? Thanks!

I’m not sure where you’re seeing their schedule that far out, but I’m almost positive it’ll be open until at least 8:00 or 9:00 pm during the week and possibly later on the weekend. It’ll still be the middle of summer so they should be running extended hours. No advice on which park to visit first or what order to try the rides. Both parks will likely be very busy. Without a Flashpass, I highly doubt that you’ll get in all the rides at Magic Mountain even once, but I could be wrong.
