July 4th Fest 2017 at Six Flags Magic Mountain

By on 07/02/2017

In honor of the 4th of July, Six Flags Magic Mountain will be transformed into a four-day “All-American” weekend of patriotic festivities, July 1-4, highlighted by a dazzling fireworks show set to flag-waving music each night during the Coca-Cola July 4th Fest. The show can be viewed from the Main Gate Plaza area and the Full Throttle Zone.

To honor our military (active and veterans) and their families, Six Flags Magic Mountain offers a $20 discount on every general admission ticket purchased. Up to four tickets may be purchased with a valid U.S. military ID. This offer is good at the Six Flags Magic Mountain ticket booths and is available any operating day. Military discounts are also available on Hurricane Harbor general admission tickets ($8 off).

Also during the four-day holiday weekend, any guest who brings a Coke can along with paid admission or a valid season pass, will be admitted one hour early for exclusive ride time on some of the park’s most popular rides.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 1st. The theme park is open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 2nd and 3rd and 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 4th.

Kurt, Your posts on instagram have been amazing. Have you thought about carrying over your experiences from the other parks and doing some reports on them here? Maybe bring back the Ride Profiles, It’d be real neat to read your detailed thoughts on the attractions and give more content on this site again!

Oh, believe me Rusty, I’d love to. I just haven’t had the time that it takes to do the write-ups. My personal and work life have taken up most of my time lately. I can post pics to IG and other social sites quick enough, but it takes a lot of work to do a proper blog post. However, I do hope to get back to it as soon as possible.
