By on 11/15/2017

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the Thrill Capital of Northern California, revealed the lead coaster car for their upcoming HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster at the 2017 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) annual attractions exposition. Featuring one of DC’s most popular Super-Villains, this is the first of its kind inverted looping roller coaster featuring continuous inversions along a vertically stacked figure eight track. The thrilling new coaster delivers multiple head-to-head flybys at combined speeds of 70 miles per hour in the ultimate dueling adventure ride.

“This is the world’s first look at this uniquely-designed coaster car developed especially for HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster that we are unveiling at IAAPA. And as the world’s first dual looping coaster and our first to be themed after one of the world’s most iconic female Super-Villains, Harley Quinn, Six Flags is once again taking thrills to a whole new level.” – James Geiser, Six Flags Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Coaster car features:

  • 32 riders are seated in two trains with the front and rear cars identical at the nosepiece while the middle cars seat four passengers face-to-face
  • The cars use 16-inch diameter wide-tread road wheels to accommodate the high speeds and accelerations that are experienced backwards and forwards
  • Ergonomically designed seats for comfort and safety

HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster offers riders a unique journey as they board competing ride vehicles. The train rocks back and forth and up to full speed before completing several thrilling forward and reverse rotations through the twin Immelmann inversions over 360 feet of track.

HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster is scheduled to be open for Summer 2018 and will be located across from THE JOKER and adjacent to SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight.

First of all, I really enjoy your site and specifically your treasures from six flags post. I am very interested in more posts about the Vallejo Six Flags. I hear mixed things and would love to know your current take on the park.
Your magic mountain coverage continues to be fine. One thing: update the prices in the park information section 🙂
