As I was walking through Six Flags Magic Mountain this past weekend, I couldn’t help but notice all of the advertisements for The Three Stooges: The Movie. I knew this had to be more than a typical advertising deal when I found myself in front of Colossus and saw this:

I have since learned that the park has a special event planned to help promote the release of this movie. Six Flags Magic Mountain is hosting “April Stooge Day” on April 1, 2012. The first 500 people to arrive at the park dressed like a stooge will gain early access to the park and Exclusive Ride Time (ERT) on both Scream and Curly’s Colossus. As if that wasn’t reason enough to dress like a stooge, the very first 10 to arrive will be given a front-of-the-line pass good all day at a yet to be announced ride in the park. There will be special contests, prizes, and surprise guests all day, so be sure to arrive early!
You can read all about this special event on Six Flags Magic Mountain’s web site, here.

Do you believe that the park will be crowded on this day?
I honestly don’t like to play the guessing game of whether or not the park will be busy on any particular day. There are so many variables involved, it’s practically futile. It is a Sunday, which are usually lighter than a Saturday, but it’s also Spring Break and April Stooge Day will surely bring more people to the park. Your guess is just as good as mine.
