Did you get the loyalty pass survey? Interesting, would be a great way to redeem themselves after the BS locker stuff they started a couple of years ago. (ie, free lockers for members)

    • Kurt says:

I did not get a copy of the latest survey. Are they thinking about a loyalty program that you pay for to get certain perks, like free lockers, or is this something that you would earn?

      • JJJJ says:

The survey indicates it would be free to join (like most supermarket and airline loyalty programs) and you would gain awards based on visits. ideas included times you visit park, food you purchase, rides you go on etc.

Ideas for prizes included free locker rentals, free parking, free valet parking, free ticket for friend. Im assuming different tiers.

Of course, the survey tosses around different concepts to look for what customers want, obviously no way to tell what would happen and what wouldnt.

Not mentioned in the survey at all, but would be a good way to manage ride wait times with an app to go with it.

I know this is off topic but i was at sfmm today and lex luthor drop of doom broke down at least 5 times today and i was in the front of the line when it broke down. It was very interesting to see how the get the gondola down from the catch tower at the very top. The maintenence guys come out and do something on the control panel, and then point a remote at the gondola or towards the gondola for it to be released. It was pretty cool to see how they fix it.
